Yes there's still a tiny taste of protein powder, like every protein bar, but it's not gritty or overwhelming at all. They reminded me of a protein snickers bar. They're quite small, and don't have tonnes of protein in, but they are low in carbs (although 11/14g is sugar). Ideal when used as a nutritious chocolate bar replacement. However if you really want to use them when working out you could eat 1.5-2 instead!
