It is great and I always use it in my Expresso machine to make cappuccino coffees. It has a great flavour. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Insipid and almost devoid of flavour *by L***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 June 2022* Very much a trial-purchase and not from what is considered a known brand. It is classified as 'medium ground' and presumably ideal for filter coffee machines such as is currently used. It may work with other types of coffee makers but results may vary from one brand to another.It is claimed to be of medium strength with both fruity and chocolaty notes. The Best Before date was hand-written using Continental-style figures and is presumed to be 01/2024 or 06/20204 which are reasonable when purchased in June 2022 but the year is the most ill-defined and is hopefully not 2021 as it would then be stale!Its fragrance is quite intense but that belies its flavour which is very mild, without bitterness but brews very weak and lacks real character when normal measures were used. It may suit some as an all-day beverage but is not one that we shall buy again. Whether or not the pack will be finished is currently uncertain but a stronger brew will be attempted before that decision is taken.As the flavour was so weak, an extra half-measure per cup was subsequently tried but it made no obvious difference in strength or flavour; with most coffees, the difference would be very noticeable but still pleasant or so intense as to almost undrinkable with a few. Further increasing the amount used began to add flavour but where to draw the line?
