I was able to stretch the hose loop over the safeway fitting to install as didn't get the dust caps before everything was assembled. The equipment sits outside in the high altitude, strong UV sunlight year round. So far after a month or so the caps are looking fine and fit is snug. These looked just like ones I bought from a local shop for 3x the price so figured they were worth a try.
