It makes enough for my husband and myself to use for a side dish for 3 meals. I add a few drops of Cholula hot sauce while I am cooking it to give it a little more depth and flavor without making it spicy. It has a great flavor and even tastes great reheated for future meals as it makes a lot. Very easy to make and I keep a few pouches in my emergency food storage that I rotate out when I buy new ones. If it’s my last choice to save my life maybe I’ll eat it… but only if I have a copious amount of fresh water available to me.
