Assembled with nuts and bolts as opposed to rivets giving the user a solid light stand that could easily be self-serviced as well as tension adjusted to the user's preferences. The mounting stud is attached with two cross pins at right angles to prevent any movement whatsoever. This stand will hold up to 19.8 lb using a 3 riser, 4 section design. And tall when fully extended, which is what I wanted. Well made and sturdy even fully extended. Will have no concerns with lights and modifiers fully extended. Would give it 5 stars if the dampening oil didn't ooze out when extending the sections. The Baby Kit was also in the running when I got this, from what I can tell, the biggest difference is T-top handles and HeliCoil thread inserts. It does seem sturdy, and I'm comfortable with my gear on it. There does not seem to be a middle ground between it being TIGHT or completely loose. My copy seems to be defective, one of the sections will not secure.
