It is 39 inches long and the inside is 35 so you would need to cut the fish to reduce its length to fit. The inside depth is 13 1/2 inches. The bag is the bomb so well made and I put ice packs I got from my pharmacy which don't melt for 15 hours and a couple bags of ice. The bag keeps my catch really cold.
