The belt also stays exactly where I cinch it to and does not loosen. This belt is stronger and thicker than the 5.11 Tactical belts that I had previously. **Q: can the belt be trimmed if too long?** A: Of course it can. I always order 2 sizes larger and cut to fit. I have 6 of these belts and all are easy cut to wherever you want. Just need to heat an old knife until red hot and it will melt right through. I cut to match the original configuration and also ‘wipe’ the last 1” on each side a little to make feeding through belt loops easier.
