Off by 30* F at the high or low end depending on where it is calibrated. If calibrated at room temp, it is low at high temps. If calibrated at high temp, it is high at low temps. Slow to respond to temperature changes. It is good looking and would be fine IF you only want to measure temperature in a very narrow range, like a sauna that is always on at a set temperature.
