I have two of these including one I have worn almost daily for about 4 1/2 years. It has shown almost NO signs of wear apart from the blue color fading a bit from regular washing. I live in the Northern Great Plains of the U.S. and this is wonderful to help keep me warm even around the freezing point and a little below unless there is a good breeze. It is my go-to hooded sweatshirt for living in one of the coldest areas of the U.S. when the weather isn't too chilly. However, during the frigid and windy winters this hooded sweatshirt does double duty because it goes under my warm and wind resistant parka to give me that extra comfort when temperatures can fall to -30 degrees Fahrenheit. I have bought 7 or 8 hooded sweatshirts for myself or the family since I have lived here and this one is Super Durable and Warm unlike the others which fray around the arm cuffs & the waist-band and also the insulation becomes matted often. The zipper is quality brass and looks brand new still after 4 1/2 years and the pull-string on the hood shows almost no wear.
