I didn't I just sprayed everywhere I had fabric. Sofa, carpets, especially under radiators and along the edges of carpets, mattress, I washed my bedding on a hot wash. Spray from around 10-20cm away evenly. Ensure your pet is out whilst this is drying. I did have to do this a couple of times. I know it is a safer product to use than most. But it did a lot of the work. Treating the pet a good hoovering everywhere helped the process.
