The first attempt had slightly more water than expected because she didn't factor the water that had been in the rice after washing it. Subsequent attempts have been very good because the water used was less and the rice was very fluffy and tastes good. It takes about 45 minutes to cook the rice using its internal programming so very easy to use. However, the timer only comes up just before the rice is cooked. Be careful with the steam vent at the top if you get too curious and put your hands over it when the rice is cooking. It generates a lot of heat so that is real steam. Just start cooking and go ahead with your activities and come back after 45 minutes and your food will be ready. The size of the bowl is good for four cups and serves four people.4 cups of rice means 4 cups of rice so don't push your luck by measuring with a mug. The low carb feature hasn't been used yet but looks like the quantity of food will be less than 4 servings.

One of the best things I have ever bought. I use it so frequently as well. Not just for rice, but healthier versions of rice and there are a lot of fun recipes online for this item. I absolutely love it and could not live without it anymore. Easy to use, so so easy to clean and it was a really good price when I got it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So Much More Than A Rice Cooker

I absolutely love this appliance. I dont cook many grains so can't comment on that but I use it for so much more. Steaming, sautéeing, stir frying and slow cooking. I use the keep warm function for softening onions. I use it every day and it has taken the place of my hob for most things. It is such a lovely thing too; I often just pat and stroke it. It's a thing of beauty 😍 The menu display is quite difficult to see if the sun is shining through the window but I know how many beeps for each of the 6 choices. (Plus 2 'keep warm - low or high). My video gives the impression the display flickers - that is just my phone making it look like that. The size is perfect for 1-3 people. Excellent value for money.
