Fit, comfort, and feel are perfect (I have average sized ears). As far as sound, it actually improves a bit. The best way to describe it, is basically the same exact sound, except a bit cleaner. Review: Great cheaper option for replacement pads! - Why you should read this review: I’m on my 2nd pair of m100’s and I go through pads about every year or so. I take great care of my headphones, so this is around year 5-6 with m100’s being my main audio delivery system for all things electronic (music, work, text-to-speech, gaming, VOIP, etc...) I seriously use them nearly every day of the year. I decided to order every cheaper brand found on desertcart for replacement pads to figure out the best choice for a cheaper alternative. And to be quite honest, while you will be able to save some $, none of these alternatives are exactly the same quality as V-moda. Are they good enough? Sure! These are the brand I decided to stay with over the competition, but I’ve noticed a lot of sound gets into the headset now in comparison to using the official pads. I can hear the TV in the background and some talking at times if I have people visiting. It can be quite a frustrating thing, which is my ONLY hesitation for not recommending these 100% over the official replacement pads. Overall, the comfort is there. I would describe them as a bit firmer than the official pads. Think of it as... the official pads feel like room temperature butter around your ears. These are also butter, but were more recently pulled out of the refrigerator. 😂 A tad bit firmer, but still a good size as all XL pads barely fit around my ears. The product also doesn’t quite snap in the same as the official brand seemed to do. Now this could be user error, but it seemed like the hexagon shape was just a tad bit... different. This could be part of the issue of the surrounding sounds getting into my headset. Either way, I do recommend these if you get replacement pads as often as I do. I’ve only owned these for about 2-3 months now, so I can’t speak on the durability too much. They are great so far. As of now i have found it almost identical to the V-Moda XL cushion, it is practically the exact same, IT is Slightly smaller ( Slightly of like 1-2 mm ) only noticeable if you have both and compared it, i personally have larger ears and head but i still feel as if this was the same as the original XL. I have to give it a 5 star for now, and i might edit the review in the future for durability test and cleaning. But as of right now it feels perfect.
