I'm disappointed at the light color for one coat, but I'm happy enough with the product overall to use it again. My pictures are one coat of Walnut and Coffee/Chestnut blend on unfinished maple, and same colors on pine; the other pic has two coats of Prestige Grey, Dark Chestnut, and Coffee on maple and pine. These are very soft woods so I expected the color to be deeper, but two coats offers a decent color richness on the maple. This stain/seal/varnish does raise the wood grain a little but not much.
