Why would you make an unwashable toy for a drooly infant is beyond me. Our old lovey was being licked and chewed on every day, and I felt it was getting really gross. I wanted a lovey that could be thrown in the washing machine, soft and cute. Amazon was the answer, as always. I found this great set, and could not be happier. My son hugs his Giraffe every night and during naps, licks and chews him to death. I throw in in the wash once a week and give him a twin replacement. And if we loose one, there is the third!
