It definitely took me a few tries to minimize the air bubbles, but even after applying the sticker and un-applying it over and over again, it still sticks just fine to the wall. I haven't tested it out, but I suspect that it shouldn't leave any residue when I need to take it down for any reason. The markers work well with the board, though they seem to lose ink when I write with it for too long. When this happens, I usually swap it out for another one to let it rest and it works just fine afterwards.
