Like a decent chunk of the purple on the kit are water slide decals. There's some dry transfers, but that's about it. **Q: Does this model have an LED option? if so What kind of LED?** A: Yes it does. They all take the same LED light. Just search mg LED light through Amazon or eBay. You will get the best price from eBay(4 for $11) while Amazon is a lot more expensive(1 for $12). They come in 3 or so different colors. **Q: are the purple stripes on the funnels decals? or do those need to be painted?** A: Yes they are waterslide decals **Q: How many leds does this model support? what kind of leds does it use?** A: It supports just 1 led that fits in the head. Unless you're a master Gunpla builder who understands lighting and circuitry and knows how to customize kits and wire them with LED's wherever you like. As far as what kind you can search "Gundam LED" on Amazon or on Ebay. Amazon has the official Bandai Gundam LED lights in multi colors and they cost a little extra because you pay for the brand name. Ebay has the Bandai LED's as well as third party Gundam LED's that dont cost as much. The quality is hit or miss but they sell bundle packs for cheap and you should get most of them if not all of them working. They are a bit pressure sensative so use a light touch when building and installing them.
