If a child were to turn the dial all the way to hot, the 29148000 would allow this change, the 29124000 has a point at 38 degrees which you can’t turn it past without pushing in a button to move it further (and make it hotter) **Q: Do the push button on/off outlet selectors make any noise when the valve opens and closes?** A: Yes it does a slight knocking noise.
