Product Description








Solo SRGII (Studio Reference Green MKII) is the current version of the famous "Green" Solo which was developed to comply with energy efficiency targets and provide superb sound quality when being powered from a low carbon "green" power supply. This version also features headphone impedance sensing feedback which matches it for optimum performance with all dynamic over-ear or in-ear headphone impedances. Externally powered, it can be ordered with a basic external self-adjusting voltage mains power supply, or the Graham Slee 230V PSU1 power supply, fitted with a suitable plug for the country of delivery. The Solo SRGII has two inputs and its selector switch also has a mute position. As with all Graham Slee externally powered mains products it is designed to be left on for best sound quality which improves over an initial two week period.

- Solo SRGII headphone amplifier has another trick up its sleeve, that being its headphone impedance sensing output
- Headphones have impedance dips and peaks across their audible spectrum, needing more control at some frequencies more than others
- Zero output impedance would be ideal, but screwing down the high frequency performance to preserve phase margin is no good for outright musical performance
- Actual output resistance can be kept constant guarding phase margin whilst output impedance will appear to be changing to compensate
