Many bargain Serrano Hams will come with a few of the parts that are included in this kit like a stand and knife, making this kit duplicitous, but expensive, and Luxurious Jamons will not. This kit come with some extras like a cover for your ham, and a separate dishtowel, and a steel to refresh your knife. Likely if Serrano or Iberico jamons are going to be a regular part of your life, you'll want to upgrade most all of these parts. But as an entry point, this is complete.
