A: Hi, do make sure that you are using the large dicer blade.

**Q: How do you use the finger guard?**
A: Use the guard when using the slicer. Pierce the vegetable securely and slide it across the slicing blade. The guard keeps your fingers safely away from the very sharp blade. You don't need the guard for chopping but be careful when handling the chopping inserts. They are very sharp too (which is why they work so brilliantly!).

Love, Love Love this thing! I have a chopper I bought years ago and it turned to mush and was total junk. But not this Fullstar Chopper. This is perfect for chopping onions, red peppers and green peppers! They are still perfectly shaped just in small chunks. Saves so much time chopping up veggies. I highly recommend this product. You do have to use a little force and I knew that from watching videos on social media. Had I not known that I might have returned it thinking it was to hard to use. But it's a blessing to have in the kitchen. I highly recommend any of there available versions.
