At this point, I'm mostly keeping it onboard for extra capacity, but it's been used for some short hikes to carry driftwood from the riverbed.It's easy to clean as well; take it outside, spray it down, quickly scrub it down with a brush, and it's good as new. It's also very much so waterproof - water does not soak into the panels, nor penetrate through it - it simply runs off or pools up - and so you really can do just about anything you want with it.The one I received unfortunately had many (close to all) of it's extra strap points cut off, the main ones are very much intact and usable. All the MOLLE points are in tact, all the zippers are perfect, and there's no tears, rips, holes, or fraying, so it's perfectly serviceable for me.
