Both pegs took quite a lot of going over, but no more slipping! **Q: Will this product help completely stuck pegs as my A peg will not move at all?** A: It would probably help to prevent a recurrence, but it wouldn’t solve your problem. I am not a qualified musician but I would suggest (1) put the violin in a warm dry place for a couple of days. (2) Try again to turn the peg. (3) Wrap the end of the peg in soft cloth and try again gently with pliers. (4) Go to a good music shop or luthier. However Amazon didn’t take care of the package and it came with the lid squashed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great *by A***R on 14 August 2024* My pegs had been sticking for ages and it was casusing me to take longer to tune than was practical for performing since I only use a fine tuner on my e. This loosened them up great without causing them to slip.Just bare in mind while this is designed to stop slipping after being applied it is still a lubricant, if you lubricate an already slipping peg more it's going to keep slipping. What this refers to when it says it prevents slipping is that its designed so your sticky pegs don't go to the opposite extreme and start slipping as can happen when you use regular soap.
