Review: You get what you pay for, but this gives a little more - Installed on a '07 Kawasaki Vulcan 900. Easy install, vulcans have 2 pre wired accessory wires already so it was plug and play. I installed it vertically over the bars with only what came in the kit. Yes, I could have made it cleaner looking or tougher with bullet plating and barbedwire , but I am making a honest review. I have a large windscreen, stock pipes. City cruising, you can hear it clearly, sound has little bass but the cost of the set up should tell you that. Gets damn loud if you want, but pretty high pitched and treble, but do-able. On the highway with a screen, it's definetly hearable cranked up, but with the lack of good bass, not the best quality.. But, the fm works great, hooked to my phone in a snap with blue tooth, when I cruise the hills of colorado, I listen to all my favs and have zero gripes , especially for the price point. I've washed the bike twice with it, not directly blasting it with the hose, but works still so thats good. Worth a shot until you pay 600 for a full system.

**Q: has anyone used this on a utv?**
A: I put this on my Kawasaki Bayou 300 4x4.  I live in Fairbanks AK and the temperature reached -55 below throughout this winter.  Although I have my wheeler covered it sits outside.  The stereo perfprmed flawlessly all year long and continues to work great.  I do have a windshield on my 4 wheeler that helps with the volume when traveling at higher speeds.  No problem hearing.  I use my 4 wheeler for gold panning and go to some pretty remote places.  The radio antenna works fine in most areas.  when it doesn't I plug in my ipod.  I have been very happy with the purchase.  Oh, I bought the Gen2 model.  Looks nice.  Hope this helps.

**Q: can i put this on top of a atv or like infront of it not in the handle side?**
A: Custom mounting clamp requires for a different mounting position.

**Q: Can you get add on speakers with the gohawk rd8 sound bar?**
A: Unfortunately it does not support additional speakers.

**Q: How do i find extension brackets**
A: The extension brackets come with the radio if they didn’t contact the manufacture if not you can easily get them at lowes

Not very good sound quality but was a very easy install. If you have a bike that rumbles or if you get above 50mph you really can't hear it well. Plenty of cable length to wire it. Had to cut the extension brackets in half to fit my bars. Function works awesome but fm radio doesn't connect to stations and antenna is mounted to mirror. Ended up removing from my bike and hooking up to my golf cart and it works awesome for the cart.
