This chair is extremely comfortable for me, I'm 5 foot 9 and weigh 197 lbs. Swinging or sitting, this system is plenty sturdy for me.It's silent! No creaks, squeaks, or swinging noise at all.POPULAR- we have 3 grandsons and they all fight over this swing even though we have monkey bars, standard swings, rope climb, and a trampoline... this is by far the most popular with the kids and I noticed no pinch-points in the design.IF you do not adjust the angles and try to use it right out of the box, it will not be comfortable.I am putting up another swing set just for these chairs so each child can swing at the same time!I much prefer this design over those that are just a flat disc.
