We did not have any issues putting the grill into the bag. We have not traveled with it yet, but definitely will be more convenient than transporting it in the box that it was purchased in. I don't have to take the griddle off and flip it over before i bag it. There are side pouches that hold the little propane bottles; always have plenty of fuel where I am cooking. The need accessories fit in a separate pouch...including the aluminum inserts for the drip pan (I store the aluminum pans inside the drop pan to prevent crushing).After a cook I simply flip the bag over and use as a cover to prevent unwanted critters from walking across the cooktop.
