Open up your tent - that is pitch it like you would if you were going to use it. Pass the brush along the seams (areas that are sewn) while squeezing the bottle slightly. Leave it to dry before folding the tent away. **Q: Need to seal 40 feet around bottom of tent. IS 2 ounces enough it's a 10 by 10 square tent. Thanks.** A: I did a 10x10 as well (all the seams) and another two person tent. I think the rest dried out before I needed it again. **Q: Is there an odor to this product when applied and how long does it take to dry? Does the tent need to be set up to dry?** A: There was a slight latex odor, but it doesn't last. All but the thickest drips dried in about 90 minutes. My tent was set up when I applied. I would not recommend trying to put the tent away while the sealer is wet, you will glue your tent together. **Q: Is one enough for a 10'x16' tent?** A: Used two for a tent half that size.
