The most famous Japanese fighter plane of World War II. The Mitsubishi A6M2, commonly called "Zero", was designed in 1940. It became famous for its extraordinary maneuverability and great performance. It was an extremely formidable weapon of the Imperial Japanese Navy. The Zero was armed with two 7.7mm Type 97 machine guns and two 20mm Type 99 machine guns. Zero planes took part in such important events as the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Battle of Midway. Review: Quality bricks at a reasonable price. - Quality bricks with tight fit. The pad printed parts versus traditional stickers is very nice. Instructions were a little harder to follow for me being color blind, but you get used to them. This is a nice option for military brick built models and I intend to purchase more.
Review: Just needed a little fix - This is a great set. It's highly detailed and very good looking. My only concern was that in the original design in the manual, the tail end of the fuselage is connected to the front of the fuselage by one single stud. I found that this design left the plane flimsy as it would easily twist off when holding it in the hand and moving it around. To strengthen it, I added some new pieces and rearranged the belly of the plane to make it much stronger. I will share some photos. If you want, you may follow them.

Quality bricks with tight fit. The pad printed parts versus traditional stickers is very nice. Instructions were a little harder to follow for me being color blind, but you get used to them. This is a nice option for military brick built models and I intend to purchase more.

This is a great set. It's highly detailed and very good looking.
