This one is no different as it's basically just a big puzzle with clear directions on where the pieces need to go. I liked to do this while I have something on in the background and just find myself spending hours chipping away at the canvas. I'm about 10 hours into this one and maybe a little more than half way done. I'm sure I could go quicker but I like to place each piece one at a time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The long and short of what you need to know *by G***C on Reviewed in the United States on 18 November 2023* The short version if you are in a hurry: YES. Buy this. It's good. For yourself or a gift for someone else.The long version if you want more details:I'm a little obsessed with this. I had never done one of these diamond craft things before, but Instagram kept showing me ads, and I was intrigued, so I finally got this one.The canvas comes rolled up and is big enough that you can work side by side with a friend. (See the pen on the photo for scale.)But note, IMPORTANT: do NOT pull the clear cellophane off the entire surface at once. That exposes the sticky part. You want to peel it off and work in sections, maybe about 12 sections. Start at the top, go across, and then snake back.The cellophane bags of diamonds are numbered, and there is a key on the left side of the canvas showing the symbol and color number. Don't dump a huge amount into the white tray. Just a small amount, and then shake gently, and most flip over to right side up, in neat lines.The directions are printed on the canvas, but have obviously been translated to English, so what to do may not be clear to you. So, I'll tell you what to do. First, the tools won't pick up the diamonds until you first stick the tool into the reddish square of sticky stuff they give you. You stick the end in there and cookie-cutter like, a tiny piece of sticky stuff sticks. Occasionally, you have to reapply.One side of the tools allows for picking up and setting multiple diamonds, but I find that it's less work and more accurate to just do one piece at a time.The squares on the canvas are marked with the color and a symbol, which is great, because some colors are very similar. That symbol is very necessary. And probably helpful if you are color blind.What has impressed me the most with this is that whoever put this together was thoughtful. I mean that they included everything you need, so you aren't running around to get more supplies. Like they know that once you open up a cellophane bag of diamonds, you are going to need to put them somewhere, so they give you little ziplock bags. (make sure to mark the color number for your reference.) They give you tweezers to move diamonds if you have the need. They give you the trays, so you aren't using your own saucers to hold diamonds.If you have small kids or pets, I would be careful with this. You may have a hard time keeping them away from the diamonds. And no matter how hard you try, some are going to fly away. I feel like if I were 2, I would definitely want to eat these diamonds.I don't know if I will keep this when I am done, but I'm enjoying the process. If you want to keep the finished product, there is enough canvas on the edges to fold over a frame. Or you can have it professionally matted and framed. It's an non-standard shape, so I don't think you can find something pre-made. You are going to have to get it custom framed.When I am done, if I find out any problems (like not enough diamonds or diamonds falling off) I will update this review. If you don't see an update, assume all went well.Overall, this is a relaxing thing to do. Fun. It definitely takes some patience because there is not instant gratification like there is with smaller kits, but this one is worth it! I haven't finished it yet but it already looks so amazing! The effect of the sparkle in the nature design is really beautiful and makes it look even more lifelike. The kit comes with everything you need including all of the diamonds which are numbered in little bags, the stylus pen, the wax, and the instructions.
