Well it depends. I've used multiple different sets over the years. This set is very nice and works beautiful. The Ideal set I had, it was nice and worked beautiful. So what makes this better? I find the overall price. With this set you can replace each individual piece. Making for a cheaper replacement. As with the Ideal set you have to buy the whole piece making it cost more. So if you're manly having a carbide cutter for occasional use I'd lean towards a cheap set but a full time commercial/industrial electrician I'd say get it. The bigger sizes of the carbide hole saws or any hole saw really, seem to go slow and be very hard on the drill.
