Secondary ingredients (phenol and eucalyptus) also possess antibacterial as well as antimicrobial properties - including miticide. All are in perfect quantity blend and synergy to 'treat' & heal in amazing record time. While is marketed for horses -- is a perfect liniment for dogs - cleared up local case of mange in 2 weeks tops. Contrast that with the 'many months-long' antimiticide therapy (oral and topical) usually prescribe which don't have a good cure rate - not to mention compliance and expense. Many thanks to the makers of HEALEX. Thank you for being bold enough to put in sufficient ratio of boric acid, phenol and eucalyptus. Beats Corona or any other ointment available on the market.
Review: Didn’t work - It didn’t do what I wanted it to do!!! Was to keep flies off my dogs ears called fly strik & I bought 2 of these & only opened 1!! 3/4 of it it left out of the 1 I opened so waste if my money

I am very impressed with this product. It cover minor scrapes and cuts like no other. I have Furazone and Corona salve and this beats both. My horse had shallow cut across the front of his leg and I was doing my best to keep it clean while the scab hardened. My barn owner had me try this. I put it on and two days later it was still covering and sealing the wound. I definitely recommend keeping this in your tack trunk. I hear it also works wonders on clipped heals. It smells nice too!
