I bought these because my speakers were 31 years old, and I knew they needed replaced. Was it simple? No. But it was my first time, and it took me maybe over an hour to install both, not including the time taking off my door panels, speakers, re-wiring. Anyway! These sound amazing. I got them for $60, on sale. So I’d say very much worth the value right now. They fit just right, glad for the multiple holes they put. But all in all, good product. And my Jeep loves them.

If you have a chevy cobalt or other car that takes plastic mounting brackets... do yourself a favor and buy some thick foam tape and put a couple layers around the rear of the speaker. Otherwise, the plastic bracket the speaker screws into will REALLY rattle.

Okay, so I want to start off by saying I’ve never messed with audio at all in any vehicle. I bought these because my speakers were 31 years old, and I knew they needed replaced. Was it simple? No. But it was my first time, and it took me maybe over an hour to install both, not including the time taking off my door panels, speakers, re-wiring. Anyway! These sound amazing. I got them for $60, on sale. So I’d say very much worth the value right now. They fit just right, glad for the multiple holes they put. But all in all, good product. And my Jeep loves them.

Amazing sound paired with a sony head unit that rates at 22 watts RMS tested. Super full range, impressive bass on these things! If you have a chevy cobalt or other car that takes plastic mounting brackets... do yourself a favor and buy some thick foam tape and put a couple layers around the rear of the speaker. (IMO) These speakers sound great. Clean n clear sound. The get plenty loud if you want with no amp wired up.
