They were a bit small, and just felt odd when I put them on. The shorts were pulling in places that they shouldn't. If you get these, size up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Comfortable but Small *by H***Y on June 11, 2023* When I first opened the package I was surprised by how small the shorts were. I normally wear a size 16 or 18 jeans (depending on the cut) and ordered a size XL based on the sizing chart. Unfortunately these run quite small. I included a picture that shows the shorts layered over a pair of jeans I normally wear. The elastic does stretch and I was able to wear the shorts for a brief workout but the pockets really gap and create a somewhat unflattering look. On the plus side, the shorts are incredibly soft and otherwise very comfortable. The liner is full-length and moisture wicking. The drawstring is sturdy and much nicer than the typical tie ends. I also really appreciate the pockets. So many women's running shorts don't have pockets (even though they seem standard on the men's versions...).
