I didn’t open this until about 2 months after I received it. It was still fully charged to my surprise. It does come with a magnetic holder and is attachable to a tripod. I’ve had no issues using either. When I turned it on, just hold the power button for a couple seconds and it was ready for basic use. I haven’t needed to use any of the other modes, the user guide does walk you through those steps. The green lasers are extremely bright and easy to see. As for leveling I haven’t crossed any issues yet. I’m glad I caught this on sale at Black Friday timing, but knowing now of how easy it is to use, I’d still pick it up.
