I purchased this because it has solid metal running through the frame so it won’t break!I was concerned about the rubber bristles. But not to worry! They don’t show the lather like other brushes but your skin gets soapy and the bristles clean you off perfectly and without any skin irritations.As one would expect it resists shower mold.It’s definitely a product I’d buy again/recommend. I’m giving it 4 stars because it didn’t Wow me like a 5-star product should. The massaging/stubby side feels great on my back, dry, and I'm sure it will be wonderful for scrubbing in the shower. The long toothed side feels great against the palm of my hand, and works as a gentle reflexology or acupressure massage, but I'm not sure it would do much for my back. I could be wrong. I don't know how much space is in there, or whether the material they used for the structural support would be affected by moisture, but it's got potential to be a problem. I don't know whether they're all like that, or if mine somehow missed a tine getting put on it. I'm getting all my family one for Christmas. Lol the bristles are soft. This thing holds no nasty smells. You can throw it in the dishwasher to disinfect if needed. It works great for cleaning your back and any hard to reach areas. I use it on my feet as well, and it's wonderful. I guess my only gripe is that I wish I could buy a different color than neon green.
