The strands of the hammock are smaller/thinner and softer than the white rope hammock that this replaced, and is therefore more comfortable. It's a very good hammock, better quality than the cheaper thick white rope versions. Hoping this will last for years (previous hammock lasted 5.) It's a very spacious hammock for a single person, comfortable, perfect for reading on the deck on warm summer and fall days.
