Read/Write speeds on this drive are good as expected from an SSD and a good improvement on an old school HDD. An SSD also has the added benefit of being much more durable and rugged than a HDD due to it not having any moving parts to be damaged by a drop or knock. I fully expect this drive to last longer than an equivalent Hard Drive. All in all, a good buy and recommended for anyone looking to put this in a late generation click-wheel iPod.
