Lanyard will pull the controller up with used to rest it on but fine as a safety backup if dropped. It’s good! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Beware - this is NOT for the DJI Mini 2 *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 January 2021* I accidentally purchased this version for my DJI Mavic Mini, rather than the new Mini 2 version because the description is misleading. I didn't realise this until I tried to fit the base plate into the remote control of the my Mini 2. It worked but due to being slightly thicker, was not held securely enough. I don't know why Lekufee don't make it universal for both models. I'm sure it would be possible.Anyway, I then ordered the correct one with the intention of returning the first one to Amazon.However when the new one arrived, I found that the iPad grip was a bit different. The spring-loaded part is plastic instead of metal bars and it expands both ways from the centre instead of from one end. This means that the bottom edge of the iPad covers move of the remote control levers.So I combined the two and used the base plate from the Mini 2 model and the grip from the old Mini version. This works really well and despite that being an expensive option, I'm very happy now.
