The unit is comprised of two bright 2-LED Mark III marker lights secured within a Cordura pouch.Each of the two individual lights within the Navlite have the same durable ABS and Lexan construction as used in the Kayalu Kayalite kayak stern light and Kayalu R25 handheld navigation light. The Navlite is waterproof to 300 meters (1000 ft) below sea level and operate 100 hours on a single set of 3 AA batteries (included). Each light incorporates 2 LEDs (total of 4), providing exceptional brightness through each colored lens. The red and green lights are turned on and off individually, by a twist of the lens housing.The Navlite is intended for use in marine saltwater and freshwater environments.INSTALLATION on a Kayak DeckThe Navlite assembly is fastened to the bow of a kayak by clipping or tying the pouch to an existing deck loop, deck rigging, bungee cord or any other point(s) available on the forward deck. The pouch has three brass grommets available for tying rope or bungee cords (cords are not included).
