I feel I must first note that I am a HUGE K-pop fan...especially Epic High, Tablo, BigBang, Jay Park, Ect....the list goes on and on. Anyway....if I put all of that aside and read this book again with no bias, I would still love it. The short stories really catch your attention and keep it until you realize your at the end of the book and wanting more. As I was reading this book, I kept thinking to myself..I wonder if these stories are actually about Tablo's life? They seem so personal and heartfelt. It's an easy read for your brain when you consider length and language, but a much more profound read for your psyche and heart. I first became a fan of Tablo over six years ago, when I was caught by the poetry of his musical career, and he has put his poetry in his prose with this collection of short stories. Even without experience with the situations written, the stories call back to the emotions of my own struggling youth, and the pieces of me that I had not thought of often, or recently.
