The box is difficult to open and you have to tear the box to pull out the polystyrene and you should be careful as the two parts of the polystyrene are not stuck together with tape and so if you are not careful you could drop the grinder.They are very chunky, so if you like that look you will probably like these, but in the photo they look far more slender than they really are. You need quite large hands to get a good grip on them. They screw off and on quickly and they are simple to clean.The glass is not great quality and has quite a few flaws in it including bubbles, which is not a good sign for glass! I would say you could use them in your kitchen but whether you would want them out on a dining table for guests is up to you, also I would not recommend as a gift as they will look like you got a cheap pair rather than a higher quality pair.
