I read a review that said less than eight minutes, then drops off to ~500. :-(** A: At an ambient temperature of 72 degrees with a fully charged battery I ran mine for 35 minutes at which point I terminated the test. On full output the light was warm to the touch after 20 minutes. It appeared to have lost some brilliance but was still at a high output that covers any of my needs. First off it is operated by 2 turn dials, 1 to turn it on and to turn to desired brightness, the 2nd dial is to set the kelvin (warmth/cool). That being said only the kelvin can be set to what you want, as long as you don't inadvertently turn that knob/dial then it will remain the same. Since you always have to turn the brightness/on/off dial you can't save the brightness. **Q: Can you use it indoors?** A: Yes light output is adjustable so not too bright in smaller spaces.
