Review: Good quality 10Gb fiber cable - Bought this to replace a busted non-Tripp Lite 10Gb fiber cable (the end had been snapped from the junction box). This replacement worked perfectly. Swapped the cables on our switch and was able to ping to our other floor within seconds. The first ping after install had a dropped packet and over 2000ms ping, but subsequent pings have been less than 1ms and 0 dropped packets. It's perfectly normal for the initial ping to have a hiccup as it establishes its connection, so no worries there. The fiber cable seems very well made and was packaged neatly in a circle pattern protect the cable (you never ever want to bend or kink a fiber cable, ever!). Solid product - would buy again!
