If you generally have a more oily face it might make your face look shiny but for minimally oily to normal faces it gives you more of a glow. I have both now and comparing them side by side I cannot see a difference outside of faint product odor. I'm using this now and it looks nice on my bathroom counter and I am so much better about applying sunscreen daily now. This goes on smooth, no sticky residue and at first it may look like a white sheen but keep rubbing it in and it disappears. No noticeable scent, no breakouts... I'm so glad I found this sunscreen. And it works or I would have had a sun burn by now.
