I usually buy the plastic ones, but after a while they tend to stain, or the printing on the cup showing its measurement size begin to either flake off or wash off.The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because it is *very* heavy. It came with a ring to attach all the cups to so they can all be together which is a grand idea, *but* it only adds to double the weight of it. So, I decided to remove them from the ring and keep them stacked in my drawer.The measuring spoons - on the other hand - are wonderful. The are easy to work with and so far, the best that I have ever purchased.All in all this is a great set for anyone who loves to cook and bake like I do.
