**Q: Is this kit for the 1/2 inch impact?**
A: This kit is for the 3/8' impact

**Q: How are these installed on a 1/2 impact wrench?**
A: Remove the old retaining ring. Lay the new ring on a firm yet pliable surface (thicker tennis shoe insole) I use one of those fake leather eyeglass cases.. believe it or not. Grab the air wrench and place it over the new ring and press down pretty hard .. new ring will snap right on. I actually saw a youtube video of this online a few years ago. Hope this helps.

**Q: For 3/8 drive ?**
A: Yes. This will fit Ingersoll Rand 3/8" Composite series of impact wrenches.

**Q: Is this kit for a 1/2" impact**
A: no. 3/8.  look for one for a 2135. that should be for a 1/2".
