The application in my case was taking slight close ups in a silent setting (classical concert) where a DSLR's shutter noises are frowned upon and one can risk ejection. ### ⭐⭐⭐ DONT PUT A FILTER ON IT *by B***R on March 21, 2024* The lens itself is nice and works well on the Neewer phone cage BUT they said you could put a 43mm filter on the lens and this is not true. I tried to put a tiffen 43mm lens on the front and it wouldn't thread on. To my horror, I found that the reason it wouldn't thread on is because the glass of the lens sticks out too far so while trying to put the filter on I was creating a scratch dead-center on the lens.
