But what do I have to lose with Amazon free returns? Upon receipt, I found the splined diameter was actually 0.6 inches and a perfect fit for my Cleanblend. I won't be returning this! I'm so happy to have my smoothies again without forking out $$$ for a brand new blender. Some advice, I used a dab of Vaseline to hold the backing plate seal in place during install. If you don't have a spanner wrench to remove the backing plate then get two 3 inch long 1/4 inch bolts from Home Depot and slide a long wrench in between.
