They're still a bit big for his face, but we didn't purchase them for a safety factor. They're comfortable and flexible. And since there are two of them, his friend can wear one, too. They're a lot of fun!The seller did a great job making sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I guess there had been a few problems with some of the shipping, and the seller wanted to see to it that my order was as expected. I was very impressed with the follow-through. Although the box was slightly damaged, the goggles inside were in perfect shape, and my son (and his friends) love them. I have a 5 year old and a nearly 4 year old. I wasn't expecting this to fit my 4 year old but it did. They are very adjustable and the elastic bands that go around the head fit nicely. They didn't fog up and they didn't complain once about them being uncomfortable. I purchased these so they can protect there eyes while playing nerf guns. I would recommend these, I think they were resonable priced and nicely made however the box is extremely cheap (not a big deal) BUT if you plan of gift them I'd keep the in mind.
