Part of why I hate buying shoes is that I suffer from Police Man's Heel (I don't know the proper medical term), so I usually have to go for sensible, comfy shoes rather than glamorous or sexy. Because of the pain that I get, I need a shoe to provide some cushioning on the soles, and if possible some support to my arches. This is the second pair that I have bought of these particular shoes, mainly because they are reasonably priced, and generally good quality. The only thing that holds them back is that they are not completely waterproof - if you find yourself in heavy rain, water will get in through the top material.REVIEW UPDATE - I bought these shoes recently, again, for about the third or fourth time, and this time I am having to return them. They are far too narrow, despite being the exact same size and style as the others that I have had before. I can just about cram my feel into them, but they won't be comfortable. I could actually see before even putting them on that they were smaller that my others.
