**Q: Hi, I was wondering if it can be reversed. I require 24v ac to 220v ac. I have a council lock up with 24v ac supply and want to step up to 220v ac.**
A: Yes, I imagine it would work well enough for very small loads. Its normal output is rated at 24v 2A, so the transformer would probably get quite hot or just burn out if asked to supply anything above 48 watts, and it would be safer to limit the power drawn to rather less than that. OK for a low-powered light, for example, but don't even think of running anything like a power tool from it!

### ⭐ Failed under light load in only 6 weeks. Doesn't deserve the one star I've had to add

Purchased to provide power to a Nest door bell. Unfortunately the primary winding is now open cct. It's failed in about 6 weeks. Not recommended.
